Who operates Lovegotchi

Lovegotchi is operated by Qewiy Interactive Games (“Lovegotchi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Questions and privacy requests can be sent to support@lovegotchi.com.

Data the app processes

Depending on how you use Lovegotchi, the app processes:

  • Account data: your Firebase Authentication identifier, sign-in information, display name, and profile details.
  • Pairing and shared-home data: invite codes, paired account identifiers, relationship dates, streaks, milestones, and shared settings.
  • Pet and game data: Mochi’s name, stage, care state, progress, inventory, room, cosmetics, achievements, and rewards.
  • Content you choose to add: chat messages, photos, stickers, reactions, Memory Vault photos and notes, and shared journal entries.
  • Notification data: notification preferences, quiet hours, and device messaging tokens used to deliver requested notifications.
  • Purchase and subscription data: product identifiers, purchase status, and receipts or verification records needed to provide paid items and Lovegotchi Plus.
  • Technical and usage data: app version, device and operating-system information, analytics events, crash reports, App Check signals, and diagnostic data.
  • Support data: information you send when contacting support or reporting a problem.

How Lovegotchi uses data

We use this information to create and secure accounts; pair two people; synchronize Mochi, chat, memories, journal pages, rooms, and progress; deliver notifications; process purchases and subscriptions; show and measure advertising; diagnose crashes; prevent abuse; provide support; and improve the app.

Sharing inside your pair

Lovegotchi is designed around one private two-person space. The person paired with you can see the shared pet state and the chat, memories, journal entries, reactions, milestones, and other content intended for the pair.

Firestore security rules restrict chat messages, memories, and couple data to authenticated accounts that belong to the relevant pair. This access control is not the same as end-to-end encryption.

Service providers

The current app uses Google and Firebase services including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Remote Config, and App Check. It also uses Google Play services for distribution and billing, and Google Mobile Ads for advertising.

These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies to deliver their services. Google Play may also provide storefront, purchase, country, device, and account information under Google’s policies.

Photos, camera, and device permissions

Lovegotchi may request access to photos, files, the camera, or notifications when a feature needs it. A photo or file is uploaded only when you choose to add or send it. You can manage operating-system permissions in your device settings, although disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working.

Advertising, analytics, and crash reporting

The free app contains ads and uses Google Mobile Ads. Firebase Analytics helps us understand feature usage, and Firebase Crashlytics helps diagnose crashes and stability problems. These services may process device identifiers, app activity, diagnostics, and approximate location inferred from network information according to their configurations and policies.

Lovegotchi Plus includes an ad-free subscriber experience in the current app. Subscription status is still processed so the app can provide Plus benefits.

Storage and retention

Shared app data is stored and synchronized using Firebase services rather than only on your device. We keep data while it is needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, and maintain required records. Different categories may have different retention periods.

Security

We use measures available in the current implementation, including authenticated access, Firestore and Storage security rules, App Check, and encrypted network connections provided by the platform and service providers. No system is perfectly secure, and Lovegotchi does not currently claim that chats or memories are end-to-end encrypted.

Your choices and requests

You can change notification and quiet-hour settings in the app, manage device permissions through Android, and use the profile account-deletion flow to request deletion. You can also email support@lovegotchi.com to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some records may be retained when required for security, billing, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

Children

Lovegotchi is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app, providers, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date shows when this version took effect.
