Lovegotchi guide

A guide to Lovegotchi’s skins, hats, and rooms

Mochi’s personality is all hers, but her look is up to the two of you. Here’s everything you can collect, and how it works.

Customizing Mochi is one of the nicest things to do together in Lovegotchi. Picking a skin or a room is a small shared decision — and a good excuse to message each other. There are three kinds of things to collect: skins, hats and charms, and rooms.

How you get items

  • Coins: every care action earns coins, and daily check-in bonuses add more. Spend them in the Shop.
  • Limited-time collections: the Shop runs featured and limited collections with a countdown.
  • Lovegotchi Plus: some items are part of the optional Plus subscription. See what Plus includes.

Each of you has your own collection and coins, but you share one Mochi and one room — so whatever skin, hat, or room is equipped shows up for both of you.

Skins

A skin changes Mochi’s whole body — color, texture, even little extras like a strawberry on top — while keeping her face and personality. The skins below have full 3D models in Lovegotchi:

Honey Mochi

Honey Mochi has a warm, glossy honey drizzle.

Honey Mochi is the only skin that changes the egg as well, so it follows Mochi through all six stages.

Strawberry Mochi

Stormlight Mochi

Strawberry and Stormlight change Mochi from Baby all the way to Legend; at the Egg stage she keeps the classic egg. The Shop has plenty of other skins too, such as Panda, Moonlight, Cupid, and Constellation Mochi.

Hats and charms

Hats and accessories sit on top of whatever skin Mochi is wearing. You’ll find things like a Tiny Crown, Silk Bow, Flower Crown, Bunny Ears, and Beat Phones, plus charms such as Pocket Sparkles and Heart Charm. Mix and match — that’s half the fun.

Good to know: in the current 3D build, wearing a hat or outfit switches Mochi to her classic 2D look so the accessory fits properly. Skins without a hat stay fully 3D.

Rooms

Rooms set the scene behind Mochi on your home screen. There are 16 in all, each one a full 3D scene. A few favorites:

Tips for choosing together

  • Take turns. One of you picks the skin, the other picks the room.
  • Match the season. Snowed-In Cabin in winter, Sakura Garden in spring, Beach Bonfire Evening in summer.
  • Save up for a big one. Agree on a skin you both want and let whoever has enough coins grab it.
  • Celebrate milestones. A new room is a nice way to mark an evolution or a long streak.
